Although Point Helleux Beach is reserved primarily for guests of the Pierre & Vacances Hotel—offering very pleasant tourist accommodations—it is also used by locals for relaxing during weekends and vacations. The fine sand beach runs from Point Helleux all the way to Anse à la Barque cove. The area in front of the hotel features tranquil waters perfect for swimming. Further on, the beach becomes more rustic, as nature reasserts itself. Not to be confused with Plage de Gros Sable, which is also sometimes referred to as Plage du Helleux.
