Leeward Coast House

Museum - Vieux-Habitants

Côte sous-le-Vent is a natural area in the historical periphery of Guadeloupe National Park (created in 1989). This house of distinctive architectural character is located where Beaugendre Valley reaches the sea. Its location near the road makes it easy to access, and it is in the immediate vicinity of a secure anchorage area for the park’s boat, used around the Pigeon Islets. The Maison de la Côte sous-le-Vent was created by the National Park to better serve the public. It is a gathering place for entire region, dispensing information about the natural, cultural, tourist, and economic attractions of the archipelago. This multipurpose facility contains offices, a visitors’ center, exhibitions, technical rooms, etc. Parc National de la Guadeloupe - Tel.:  0590 41 55 55 - www.guadeloupe-parcnational.fr.
