This public beach in the heart of town features a tranquil lagoon protected by a coral barrier reef, with deliciously warm, crystal clear waters. It is very popular with visitors and locals alike. A water sports center hosts numerous activities here. The nearby market, restaurants, and sorbet vendors make it a lively scene. Lighting is provided until midnight. The commune sponsors lifeguards between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for the 300-meter stretch between the water sports area and the first riprap.
