Salabouelle Cove

Better known as “La Bouelle,” Salabouelle Cove is essentially an exposed reef break. Depending on conditions, it may be frequented by intermediate, hard-core, or supervised beginning surfers (surfing lessons are given here). Enter and exit via a small sandy inlet that opens directly onto the reef. Left and right breaks influenced by north, east, and northeast swells. The lefts are generally fast and hollow (ideal for short-board and body-boarding), while the rights are longer (ideal for short-board, long-board and stand-up paddling). Access is facilitated by a large parking area.
