Blonzac Aquatic Garden

Created over a decade ago by Christiane Berthelot and surrounded by nature, this park is located adjacent to the La Rose River.  Visitors may explore the richness of Guadeloupe flora in a nursery of tropical trees and ornamental plants, amid colorful flowers and reflecting pools. A number of water-themed activities are offered for children, particularly on Wednesdays. The Garden also has a number of picnic spots in addition to facilities for volleyball, pétanque (“boules”), canoeing, and even “ouassou” prawn fishing. Blonzac Aquatic Garden holds regular “theme days” on cultural and artistic topics and welcomes groups. Open to the public Wednesday through Sunday starting at 9:00 a.m.
