Beach - Anse-Bertrand

This wide beach, stretching out across 500 meters of Caribbean Sea shoreline, is a good place to avoid the crowd. Bordered by raisinier (“seagrape”) trees and catalpas, it is ideal for a day of relaxation. It features a beautiful stretch of ocean; however, the sea here can be rough, with strong currents. When the weather is clear, the beach offers a beautiful view of the islands of Montserrat and Antigua. A “Point Bleu Soleil” ecotourism information and gathering place is provided. During the Local Heritage festival, a Pulling Bull contest is held on a nearby slope.
