Nautical - Capesterre de Marie-Galante

The port is a harbor for fishing boats, traditional “pri-pri” rafts, and motor boats returning from excursions to the coral reefs of the lagoon. Fish-traps are hauled in teeming with lobster, catfish, grouper, sturgeon, trunkfish, and many other species. Dragnets have been known to catch frigate tuna, sea bream, and tuna. Everything is sold straight off the boat at the nearby fish market.
