Pottery Kiln

Monument - Trois-Rivières

This kiln near the mouth of the Grande-Anse River is the only surviving element of the four pottery factories that once operated in Trois-Rivières, all of which were located near the sea. They mainly produced sugar forms for the sugar factories. This kiln was part of the pottery factory owned by the family of the mellifluous name of "Coquille-Sainte-Croix."
