Architecture - Lamentin

Nestled in the heart of the tropical, green landscape of Lamentin at an elevation of 110 meters, the mineral springs of Ravine Chaude flow straight out of the La Lézarde heights, near La Soufrière volcano. These 33°C waters (approaching body temperature) are reputed to cure rheumatism, sciatica, and intractable physical fatigue. They contain significant quantities of iron, calcium, iodine, nitrogen, and potassium, minerals that have, in the case of calcium, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that regulate the cardiovascular system and mineralize bones and teeth. Magnesium, a muscle relaxant, is said to prevent cardiovascular disease and aid in the transmission of nerve impulses. Potassium regulates blood pressure, water retention, and muscle contraction. Bathing regularly in these waters brings the same benefits as balneotherapy. Bathers are required to wear swimming caps and bathing suits. The site has a relaxation pool with Jacuzzi, depth 1.30 m and a 25 m sport pool, depth 1.30 m to 1.80 m. Several aquatic activities are offered: aqua gym, aqua-gym, aquabike, child swimming, teen swimming and young adults, adult swimming, aquatic garden, aqua baby, water preparation at birth. A well-being area will provide massages and beauty treatments.
