Located in the commune of Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe, at an elevation of 950 m, Les Bains Jaunes (“Yellow Baths”) are pools of warm water fed by hot springs originating in the volcano. This place of relaxation, with sulfurous 30-°C waters reputed to be revitalizing, is frequented by locals and visitors alike. Developed by soldiers in 1887, the site includes a paved road, main pool, and the Maison du Volcan (“House of the Volcano”).
