Landscape - La Désirade

Located between Pointe des Colibris (“Hummingbird Point”) and Pointe Frégule, Anse des Galets features a landing stage that once was part of a busy harbor, as this location was originally the landing spot for arrivals to the island. Overlooking the sea, a small area is set aside, featuring an old cannon recalling past conflicts and a plaque commemorating the delivery of fresh water from the main islands of Guadeloupe in 1991.
