The Guadeloupe Aquarium contains approximately 30 tanks housing hundreds of species, including globefish, moray eels, and tarpons - the latter in their own separate tank. Visitors may admire seahorses, subtle-hued seaweed forests, amazing coral specimens, and ever-waving anemone, along with terrifying sharks in their natural habitats (freshwater, mangrove swamp, lagoon, or open sea). A team of experienced caretakers attends to wounded or ailing creatures and prepares them to return to the wild.
