Wharf

Yatching port - Trois-Rivières

It’s off to the islands! Visitors to the wharf enjoy a superb panoramic view of Les Saintes, 14 kilometers off shore. The first colonists to settle here set up camp nearby, where the oldest remains still stand. Constant maritime trade spurred development of the port, and the town grew up around it. In the 18th century, the wharf gained a reputation for illegal trafficking in all kinds of contraband. Today, traffic is focused on the many shuttles coming and going, leaving in the morning at 8:00 a.m. and returning at around 4:00 p.m. Those who wish to take a shuttle to Les Saintes are advised to check in advance for departure times, at the wharf or at the Syndicat d'Initiative (“Chamber of Commerce”). Maritime companies Val Ferry and Deher both transport passengers.
