3rd Carbet Waterfall

WaterFall - Capesterre Belle-Eau

Plunging from a height of twenty meters, the Third Carbet Waterfall impresses visitors most by the sheer volume of its flow, the largest of any waterfall in Guadeloupe. Water tumbles into a wide circular pool (swimming permitted). From the starting area, allow 4 to 5 hours, round-trip, to hike to the falls. Alternatively, another trail may be taken from Highway D3 to reach the falls in an hour. The area around the Carbet Waterfalls is subject to frequent rock falls; access may be blocked at times for safety reasons. Nevertheless this attraction is very popular among tourists and vacationers. For more information: Parc national de la Guadeloupe: 0590 41 55 55 - www.guadeloupe-parcnational.fr.
