A nesting ground for caretta (“loggerhead”) turtles, Caribbean Beach is a protected area that requires visitors who wish to sunbathe, scuba dive, or kayak to do so without disturbing the natural environment or this species, in accordance with the requirements developed by the municipality in partnership with the shoreline conservatory.
