This beach, known for its constant breezes, boasts calm, shallow waters and has very few rocks, making it perfect for kite-surfers; on windy days, over a hundred may be seen gathered here. Kite-surfing consists of gliding over the water on a modified surfboard while holding onto a kite via four lines, each about 20 meters long. The sport, often judged to be dangerous, has the potential to disrupt fishing activities, and is not always tolerated by municipal authorities.
