Saint-Jacques Racetrack

Architecture - Anse-Bertrand

The regional racetrack is located out in the middle of the country at Saint-Jacques, five minutes from the town of Anse-Bertrand. Horse races are held from January to October. The show begins at noon, with the entrance of purebreds from both the Caribbean region and continental France. The Karukera Racing Society, in cooperation with both the Conseil Régional (“regional council”) and Conseil Général (“general council”), organizes races offering the highest stakes in the Antilles.
