Plate Point Trail

Begin at Plage de la Chapelle (“Chapel Beach”), walking along the coconut palms, before joining the trail, indicated by yellow markings, that follows the seashore. Walk pleasantly across the keys—discovering crabs, dried gorgonian coral, and other shells—past rushing waves forming geysers, before arriving at Anse Colas (“Colas Cove”), a small, fine-sand cove protected by boulders. A path from here leads toward a rougher stretch of ocean, then past a small mangrove swamp, before ending at Plate Point (approximately 6 km, very easy hiking).
