Beach - Saint-Louis

Located in the heart of town, this strip of fine sand beach flanks the landing dock on either side. Visitors may enjoy a view of turquoise water stretching out to the horizon and many sailboats and pleasure boats at anchor (including, at times, the famous five-masted “Club Med“ sailing ship), while observing children learning to kayak and fishermen preparing their boats for their next runs. Along the beach there are several restaurants offering freshly caught fish and other seafood. Further on, there is a magnificent coconut grove.
