Almond Tree Beach

Beach - Sainte-Rose

This magnificent beach is located across from the Duzer traffic circle, 300 meters from the National Highway. This long strip of golden sand wide-open to the ocean owes its name to the many almond trees that border it. From Pointe Madame (station of the cross containing two crosses), there is a magnificent view of the beach, the turquoise sea, and Pointe à Latanier. Exercise caution when swimming, because the beach is not protected by the coral reef. A number of shade structures are provided for picnicking, along with a parking lot.
