Beach - Sainte-Anne

This magnificent white sand beach is bordered by coconut palms and features calm, emerald waters protected by a coral barrier reef. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe. It is no accident that Club Med, known for its gorgeous settings, established its resort at this exceptional site; this is a beach that does not disappoint. Although Club Med has laid claim to a portion of the beach, however, it remains open to the public. Its shallow waters near the shoreline make it an ideal beach for children. Many water sports are practiced here, including snorkeling, windsurfing and, further out, jet-skiing. From the shore there is a beautiful view of the lagoon with sailboats at anchor. Surfers make use of a left reef break, influenced by south and east-southeast swells, accessible to surfers of intermediate to advanced ability.
