Landscape - Pointe-Noire

The commune is home to several trails of interest:  “Trace de Baille-Argent/Sofaïa,” featuring pools, waterfalls, and giant anthurium plants, starts at Beausoleil (Pointe-Noire) and ends at Sofaïa sulfur springs (Sainte-Rose); “Trace Belle-Hôtesse,” a shady path climbing the peak, from which hikers enjoy a magnificent view, starts at Gommier and ends atop Belle Hôtesse Hill; “Trace des Contrebandiers,” which starts at the hamlet of Espérance on the Duportail forest road (Sainte-Rose); and “Trace d’Acomat,” which starts at the foot of Morne à Louis.
