Allée Dumanoir Recreational Area

The land adjacent to roadways often goes unused. Yet such spaces have the potential, if developed into recreational areas, to fulfill multiple purposes as tourist attractions, fitness areas, parks, etc. It is with this in mind that the area around Allée Dumanoir was selected for a pilot project. Inaugurated on August 14, 2012, the Espace de Loisirs de l’Allée Dumanoir, which includes a children’s playground, various fitness amenities, benches and shelters for relaxation, enhances the area’s attractiveness to tourists.
