Hot baths of Matouba

Landscape - Saint-Claude

Known for a long time for its particularly hot sulphurous waters, the basin of hot baths of the Matouba was long inaccessible because of the catchment realized in the 60s to supply the thermal center of the Eaux Vives. The rehabilitation works carried out by the Guadeloupe National Park allow once again to take advantage of the site. It is reached in 1h30 without much difficulty following the signs from the forest house of Matouba. Warning: the pond water can exceed 60 °!
