Garden - Le Gosier

Created in 2002 in the heart of the town of Le Gosier, this interpretive garden features a collection of over two hundred plant species, and plays an important role in protecting and preserving the area’s natural heritage. The garden features many fruit trees and plants of all kinds:  aromatic, ornamental, edible, medicinal, and functional. It also features a pond with the associated flora and fauna, making the garden an effective aid for teaching about the environment. The garden was begun by Alexina Silvestre and her husband, whose descendants share the family passion and have carried it forward, creating a public reception space with fun, educational activities having to do with the local flora and fauna.
