Yatching port - Grand-Bourg

Located in the heart of town, the port provides anchorage for fishing boats, with a landing stage to facilitate docking and easy unloading of catches by commercial fishermen. Sea bream, tuna, catfish, rockfish, sturgeon, triggerfish, jack fish, trunkfish, parrot fish, and lobsters are sold here right off the boat. Passenger shuttles traveling between Marie-Galante and Guadeloupe also land here. A second area is reserved for pleasure boats. Across from the port, note the graffiti art referred to as “the friendly fisherman,” by Guadeloupian artist Jimmy Sheikboudhou.
