Karukera Rum Distillery is located on the grounds of the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie in Capesterre Belle Eau. The Distillery conducts every stage of its rum production process, from maturation to oak barrel ageing, within the confines of this estate, which is dedicated to growing sugar cane. This comprehensive mastery of every aspect of rum development is what has enabled the Karukera Rum Distillery to achieve consistently optimum quality.
Karukera Rum Distillery, winner of numerous awards in 2014 and 2015, offers a wide variety of rums, which may be enjoyed alone or as cocktail ingredients:  white “rhum agricole” (official term for the signature rums of the French West Indies) made from “100% pure blue cane,” “rhum vieux” (old rum), aged according to the old tradition, and other special products or limited editions, all designed to please the discerning rum lover seeking new sensations.
